Obituary notices are broadcast Weekdays at 8am, 10am, 1pm and 6pm and at Weekends, Bank Holidays and during the Christmas period, at 10am, 1pm and 6pm

How to place a notice: 

Obituary notices will only be accepted from Undertakers. All notices which appear in the "Obituaries & Death Notices" section must be authenticated by the newsroom, which can be contacted via 045-849109 or

The funeral arrangements are as follows

Rita Fenelon, Forest Park, Athy

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy on Sunday from 4pm .

Removal by Rigney's Funeral Directors on Sunday evening at 5.30pm to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy for prayers at 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Michael's New Cemetery, Athy.


Peadar O'Neill, Derrinturn, Carbury.

Reposing at his sister Bridie Sullivan's home in Killinagh from 7pm this evening with Rosary at 9.30pm and tomorrow, Sunday from 4pm with Rosary at 7pm.

Removal by Larkin's Funeral Directors on Monday, arriving at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Derrinturn for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please.

Donations, if desired,  to the Irish Cancer Society and Friends of Naas Hospital.

Anne Morris Dempsey nee Kelly, Killina, Carbury.

Reposing at her home today, Saturday, with Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11 O'Clock in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Derrinturn, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
