The recording features boys and girls separated from their parents as part of the Trump administration's 'zero tolerance' crackdown on those entering the US illegally.

Gay rights campaigners are hoping that a government apology to men convicted of homosexual activity will also come with a pardon.

The all-party motion will be brought before the Dáil this evening, which will hear from the Taoiseach, TDs and Senators on the issue.

A man who used Tinder to target women online has pleaded guilty to raping a woman and sexually assaulting another within days of each other.

Patrick Nevin, with an address at Meadowlands Court in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, was previously found guilty of assaulting a Brazilian woman.

Trial Of Woman Charged With Dangerous Driving Causing Deaths Of Her Four Friends In Kildare To Begin In July.

A 22 year old woman charged with dangerous driving involving the death of four of her friends will go on trial next month.

Dayna Kearney of Crossneen in Carlow was driving a car that crashed with a van at Burtown near Athy in Co Kildare in January of 2015.

176 "High Priority" Children Without Social Workers In Kildare/Wicklow/South Dublin Area

176 children in the Kildare/Wicklow/South Dublin area whose cases are described as "high priority" have yet to be allocated a social worker.

The Dept. of Children says, at the end of March, 647 in this area were without a social worker.

Its the highest figure in Ireland.
