England vs Croatia Tonight: 6 Kildare GAA Teams Prepare for Weekend Action.

England have a fully fit squad to choose from ahead of tonight's semi final in Moscow.

Croatia have a number of injury concerns following the epic battle to overcome Russia.

Kick-off at the Luzhniki Stadium is at 7.00.

 

Arsenal have confirmed the signing of France Under 20 midfielder Matteo Guendouzi from French club Lorient.

The 19 year old has joined the Gunners on a long term contract for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of 8 million euro.

West Ham have signed Ukraine international Andriy Yarmolenko.

The forward joins from Borussia Dortmund on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

He is the Hammer's fifth signing of the summer and the second of the week, following Jack Wilshere's arrival.
 

Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will meet in the semi finals of Wimbledon if they both win today.

The Serb gets Men's Singles quarter final day underway on Centre Court with a last eight battle against Kei Nishikori of Japan.

That will be followed by the meeting of Nadal and the fifth seed Juan Martin del Potro.

Roger Federer will continue the defence of his title against South Africa's Kevin Anderson on Court Number One.

Ninth seed Milos Raonic takes on John Isner.
 

Ciara Neville and Gina Akpe-Moses are through to the 100 metres semi-finals at the World Under 20 Athletics Championships in Final.

Both sprinters finished second in their heats.

Neville's time of 11.54 seconds was the second fastest she has ever ran the distance.

 

6 Kildare teams are continuing preparations for this weekend.

On Friday evening, at 7, the minor footballers replay Wicklow in the Leinster semi final in Aughrim.

Saturday at 4pm, the U20 footballers play Kerry in the All Ireland semi final in the Gaelic Grounds Limerick. 

That is preceded at 2pm, by the U21 hurlers vs Kerry in the All Ireland B Quarter Final.

On Sunday at 2pm, the senior footballers play Monaghan in the Super 8 in Croke Park, commentary

Also on Sunday, in Ladies football:

Kildare play Wexford in the All Ireland Intermediate championship at 2pm in Baltinglass (note change of venue)

The minor ladies play Roscommon in the All Ireland  B final in Moate, also at 2pm.
