Overnight Roadworks Continue At The Curragh Camp Tonight

Overnight roadworks at the Curragh Camp continue tonight.

They are in effect from the Cattle Grid at McDonagh Pitch and Putt Club to the Curragh Camp Church.

Road closures are required between  Ballymany Roundabout and Brownstown Cross from 7pm and 6am.

A diversion will be in operation.

Details in relation to the traffic diversion is provided below:

Traffic from Newbridge wishing to access the Curragh Camp will be diverted at Ballymany Roundabout onto R413, Kilcullen Road, turning right onto L-7034 at Donnelly’s Hollow, continue along L-7034 until its junction with L-6075 turn right onto L-6075 and continue onto L-3006 to its junction with L-3008. Turn right at Brownstown Cross onto L-3008 to enter The Curragh Camp.

Traffic from Brownstown wishing to access Newbridge will be diverted at Brownstown Cross, onto L-3006. Continue along the L-3006 onto L-6075 to its junction with L-7034, turn left onto the L-7034 and continue to its junction with the R413 at Donnelly’s Hollow . Turn left onto the R413 and continue until reaching Ballymany Roundabout.

Local access to all residential and commercial premises in the Curragh camp will be maintained during this road closure from the Brownstown Cross.
