Wikileaks Founder, Assange, "Surprised" Warrant For His Arrest Has Been Upheld.

: 02/13/2018 - 17:49

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange says he's surprised a warrant for his arrest has been upheld.

He's wanted by police because he skipped bail in 2012 - as he was refusing to leave the Ecuadorian Embassy in London to avoid extradition to Sweden.

The judge at Westminster Magistrates' Court said Mr Assange believes he is "above the normal rules of law" and that he should have the "courage to face a court."
