Listen: Foster's Softer Language Cautiously Welcomed

Arlene Foster's being challenged to 'follow her words with action' after her call for closer relations between the UK and Ireland.

Speaking yesterday in Killarney in Kerry, the DUP leader said politicians on both sides of the border should work together in the approach to Brexit - for the benefit of everyone.

Sinn Fein's leader in the North, Michelle O'Neil said the speech signalled a difference in tone but not in policy.

Meanwhile Fianna Fail's spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Dara O'Brien, says words are good but they're not enough:
