Rents across the country have soared to a new all-time high of 12-hundred euro per month.
Latest figures from Daft.ie show the average price in Dublin now stands at 1,774 euro per month, an increase of over 12 per cent on the same time last year,
Average rents in Kildare have risen by 10.6% in the year to September.
The latest report by Daft.ie shows that the average rent charged for properties in the county is now €1,193
That's up 70% on their lowest point.
Cork experienced a jump of over 5 per cent, Galway, 9.8 per cent and Limerick rose by 10.9 per cent.
Daft.ie says were 3,365 properties available to rent nationwide on November 1st, the lowest ever such number.
