A Kildare man charged in connection with organising people smuggling at Dublin Airport has been remanded on bail, pending directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The Irish Daily Star reports that Aer Lingus worker, 56 year old Peter Kernan, has been charged with facilitating the entry of foreign nationals in to the state on January 9th and 22nd of this year.
He gave his address as the Old Rectory Lodge, Celbridge.
The Irish Daily Star reports that Judge Gibbons remanded him on bail to appear before the court again in seven weeks' time.
Gardai have seized his passport.
