A candle-light vigil is taking place in Athy tomorrow night. It is to call for Orkambi to be made available to all people living with Cystic Fibrosis.
The Health Service Executive is locked in a dispute with with its manufacturer, Vertex over the price of the drug.
Vertex has quoted €160,000 per person, per year, for the medication.
Ireland has one of the highest frequencies of CF in the world.
The event is taking place in Emily Square, beginning at 6.30pm.
