Utd in Prem Lge Action & Two Naas Golfers in International Event

In the Premier league, Manchester United go to Southampton this evening.

Jose Mourinho will rest some of his players ahead of next weeks Europa league final against Ajax.

United are likely to be without Paul Pogba as he attends his father's funeral.

The 24-year-old midfielder's father died on Friday and the France international, who already missed Sunday's game at Spurs, is on compassionate leave.

Deirbhíle Byrne - St Laurences and Emer Reilly – Celbridge have been selected on the Leinster Camogie panel to play in the Interprovincial finals on Sunday 21st May in Abbottstown, Centre of Excellence, Dublin.


Rory Mc Ilroy has confirmed that Jon Rahm will play in the Dubai Duty free Irish Open in Portstewart in July.

The Spaniard recently won the Farmers Insurance open and is currently ranked 12th in the World.

Speaking today Mc Ilroy also said he hopes to play at the PGA Championship at Wentworth which takes place next week.

The 28 year old has recently struggled with injury.


Naas golfers Conor O’Rourke and Jonathan Yates are on the GUI team of six today playing the Metropolitan Golf Association of New York in the Governor Hugh L Carey Challenge Cup at Galway Bay Golf Resort

The foursomes are underway this morning and the Naas men won their match 2 and 1.

The fourballs begin at 1.30
