A Labour TD says he "understands" that the report in to the fire at Millfield Manor in Newbridge has been completed.
6 homes in the estate were destroyed by fire in a period of half an hour on March 31st, 2015.
Following an examination by the Kildare County Council appointed expert, which found points of concern, the then Minister for the Environment set up a Steering Group to "address non-compliance with fire safety requirements in residential developments".
The incident at Millfield Manor is the "case study" element of this review, which was scheduled to report "on or before 30th January" 2016.
The Housing Minister, in response to a parliamentary question in December, noted that "the report remains under consideration pending clarification on a number of issues."
TD, Aodhán Ó Ríordáin, in the Dáil, says "I understand that this report has been completed and that the current Minister is in possession of it. I am anxious to know what the report contains."
