There's been an increase in the number of people who are homeless in Kildare.
Data released by the Department of Housing shows that between Christmas Day and New Year's Eve,
145 people in the county were living in emergency accommodation.
That's up from 134 in November.
The number of people in homelessness in Kildare is more than Meath and Wicklow, combined.
Nationally, 8,500 people, including 3,076 children, were in emergency accommodation in December. That's down from 8,800 in November.
