British MPs Vote To Approve Plan For Snap General Election
British MPs have overwhelmingly voted to approve Theresa May's plan for a snap general election on the 8th of June.
They voted 522 to 13 in the House of Commons.
Theresa May announced yesterday that an early election was the only way to achieve stability in Westminster ahead of Brexit.
Before June's poll there'll be at least one leaders debate on live TV - but the Prime Minister says she won't feature because she wants to get out to talk directly to voters instead.
