Kildare Minor Football Team to Play Laois Named & Donnacha Ryan Transferring to Racing Metro

The Kildare minor football team to play Laois in the Leinster minor quarter final tomorrow in St Conleth’s Park at 3pm has been named.

Munster Rugby has confirmed the departure of Donnacha Ryan to Top 14 Racing Metro.

The Tipperary native, who has won 47 caps for Ireland, was not offered a renewal of his IRFU contract.

Francis Saili is also leaving; but, Ian Keatley and Jaco Tauite have signed new deals.


In the Pro 12 semi final this evening at 7.45, Leinster host Scarletts at the RDS.

Kildare players Joey Carbery, Adam Byrne and James Treacy are named in the starting 15.

Munster play Ospreys in the other semi final tomorrow at 6.15.

Connor Murray starts. Simon Zebo is at full back.

Donnacha Ryan has been named in the second row for his last game at Thomond Park.
