More detailed information has been requested by Kildare planners on a proposal to develop a solar panal array in Naas.
BNRGN Kerdiffstown Ltd is seeking 10 year planning permission for a Solar PV Energy facility on a 7.79 hectare site at Monread North.
Planners were scheduled to issue their decision yesterday; they have, instead, asked for more information on 8 points, many of which relate to the proposed development's proximity to the M7.

a period of 10 years to construct and complete a Solar PV Energy development with a total site area of 7.79 hectares, to include a single storey electrical substation building, electrical transformer and inverter station modules, solar PV panels ground mounted on support structures, internal access tracks, security fencing, electrical cabling and ducting, CCTV and other ancillary infrastructure, drainage, additional landscaping and habitat enhancement as required and associated site development works
