Listen: Bus Eireann Strike Rumbles On; Dublin Bus & Irish Rail Services Running, With Some Delays.

The strike at Bus Éireann is continuing, causing difficulties for the users of its 12 services to and via Kildare.

Dublin Bus and Irish Rail services have resumed, with delays, following widespread disruption earlier this morning, caused by the picketing of depots by Bus Eireann staff.

The company says such illegal strike action won't solve the problems at the company.

The Transport Minister has described the disruption to Irish Rail and Dublin Bus services as an 'orchestrated ambush' and that industrial disputes are none of his business.

But Sinn Féin's deputy leader  Mary Lou McDonald says Shane Ross needs to end his own strike and sort out the issue once and for all.

Dublin Bus says its services to Ballymore Eustace, Maynooth, Celbridge and Leixlip are running.
