A "moment of remembrance" for one of the four women killed in Tuesday's collision on the N78 in Athy is taking place at Maynooth University today.
19 yr. old Aisling Middleton from Coney Meadows, Coneyboro, Athy, originally from Rathcoole, was an English and Anthropology student at NUI Maynooth.
She, along with Chermaine Carroll, Niamh Doyle, and Gemma Nolan, all from Carlow, were killed in a two vehicle collision at Burtown Cross.
The driver of the car, and the two occupants of the van, remain in Naas General Hospital.
Maynooth Students Union is holding the service at Midday in the Student Services Centre.
Books of condolence have opened at the university, and also at Kildare County Council.
