Clane and Rathcoffey Parish weekly lotto
Every Tuesday night in the Parish Centre, Main Street, Clane, at 8.00pm.
Tickets €2 each and the proceeds of the parish lotto support the running of the parish.
The current jackpot is €6,400 and there are 5 X €50 draws on the tickets each week.

Castledermot Local History Group
Stitch in Time Display
Wednesday, 19th August, between 2 pm and 7 pm.
The Castledermot Local History Group acquired a stitching sampler created by a young Quaker girl in Castledermot in 1692, and the public is invited to call in to Teach Diarmada Community Centre (R14 YF61) to view the sampler and learn a little more about it and Sarah Sparrow, the girl who made it.

Gates open for buyers at 08.45. We have over 70 stalls booked,
selling a vast array of products at bargain prices. All profits go to the Community.

As part of National Heritage Week 2026, Donard Imaal Local History and Heritage Group
will be hosting an event called 'Who Lives Where?'
It will take place on Saturday, August 22, from 3pm-8pm and Sunday, August 23, from 10am-1pm
in Donard Community Hall, W91 YW57.
There will be an exhibition of the 1901, 1911 and 1926 censuses with maps and photographs.
Bring your old photographs, somebody is sure to recognise the face you don't know.
Light refreshments will be available in the cafe room.

Become a Newbridge SVP Meals on Wheels Volunteer Driver
Could You Spare a Little Time to Make a Big Difference?
Every weekday, Newbridge SVP Meals on Wheels Service delivers 55–60 hot meals
to older members of the community. For many recipients, this visit provides
not only a nutritious meal but also a friendly face, reassurance
and an important connection with the outside world.
To help continue this vital community service, Newbridge SVP is seeking
volunteer drivers.

ContacShare Food, the Newbridge Parish food bank, is appealing for donations of food.
Share Food has been operating in Newbridge for 13 years
and distributes 120 food parcels each week to people in need.
The group welcomes all kinds of tinned and packaged food as well as toiletries.
Donations can be given at collection points in Newbridge at Dunnes Stores, Tesco and SuperValu,
as well as at St. Conleth’s, Cill Mhuire and Dominican churches.
