takes place next Saturday, September 5th.
We open for buyers at 08.45 and finish at 12.30.
Yet again, we will have over 70 stalls selling a wide variety of products at bargain prices

Blessington Country Fete
in aid of St Mary's Church Blessington and St Johns Ballymore Eustace
Saturday 5th September
in St Kevins Hall Blessington from 12 to 4.
Lots on offer Bric a Brac, Cakes and Treats, BBQ, Plants, Pre Loved Clothes, Bottle Stall and Raffle.
Novelty Dog show at 1pm with classes to include Waggest Tail, Junior Handler, Fancy Dress
to mention a few.
Entry on the day is €5 per adult and kids are free.
Entry includes tea/coffee and cake. Dog show has free entry.

Kilcullen Cemetery Mass
Sunday September 6th
Prayers in New Abbey at 2pm.
Mass in St. Brigid's at 3pm followed by the blessing of the graves.

The 3rd annual dog walk in memory of the late Richie Maher takes place this Sunday September 6th in Mullaghcreelan Wood, Kilkea at 3pm.
Family, friends & neighbours are invited to bring their 4 legged friends along to celebrate Richie's love of animals & help raise funds for the KWWSPCA.
All are welcome.

Novena to Our Lady of Sorrows
from Monday 7th September every night until the 15th September.
The Novena takes place in different churches, Athy, Castledermot, Crookstown and Moone.
It starts with the rosary at 7pm followed by mass and benediction at 7.30pm.

Naas Photography Group Open Night
8th of September, 7.30 pm
Luisne Centre McCauley place, Sallins Road, Naas.

at 3 McElwaine Terrace, Station Road, Newbridge (across from the parish centre) from 10am - 2pm

Autumn Resolution – Act Now! Introductory Course on Philosophy & Meditation

Cpr courses for the farming community
Rathangan First Responder's are running free CPR courses, they usually time 7pm to 9.30 ish.
You will learn: Scene safety, Call for help, Difference between Heart Attack and Cardiac Arrest,
Treatment for both, Compressions, Rescue breaths with and without barrier device,
Use of Aed(defibrillator), Recovery position, Choking relief.
All practiced on Adult, Child and infant manikin.
You will receive a Irish Heart Foundation certificate, valid for 2 years.
This is a very worthwhile course.

Become a Newbridge SVP Meals on Wheels Volunteer Driver
Could You Spare a Little Time to Make a Big Difference?
Every weekday, Newbridge SVP Meals on Wheels Service delivers 55–60 hot meals
to older members of the community. For many recipients, this visit provides
not only a nutritious meal but also a friendly face, reassurance
and an important connection with the outside world.
To help continue this vital community service, Newbridge SVP is seeking
volunteer drivers.

ContacShare Food, the Newbridge Parish food bank, is appealing for donations of food.
Share Food has been operating in Newbridge for 13 years
and distributes 120 food parcels each week to people in need.
The group welcomes all kinds of tinned and packaged food as well as toiletries.
Donations can be given at collection points in Newbridge at Dunnes Stores, Tesco and SuperValu,
as well as at St. Conleth’s, Cill Mhuire and Dominican churches.
