The My Shadow - Living with MS exhibition is a collection of art pieces that represent the artists personal journey with Multiple Sclerosis. It's aim is to raise awareness of the disease and highlight some of the difficulties faced by people living with disability within our community.

BALLYNOCKEN FESTIVAL: MAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY WEEKEND

 

A five day festival with music from all genres, Ceili dancing, history talks, Hill walks, granite quarry museum tour and demonstration of stone cutting. Family fun day with craft markets, orienteering, dancing, music, popup Gaeltacht, nature walk and much more to promote the music and heritage of the area together with community spirit.

Shamrock Car and Machinery Club Show/family day

Bank holiday Monday 4th May

 at the Hamlet Court Hotel, Johnstown Bridge. 
All proceeds from the show are donated to local charities in the locality each year. 
The show starts at 12:30, with exhibitor entries from 11am.  
Entry is 10 euro for an adult or 20 for a family.

Events include live music, model diorama, horse showing, a dog show , vintage threshing and a display of vehicles.
