Nationally, 437 new cases, and no additional deaths, were reported.

It has emerged that there are 31 construction sites, in Co. Kildare, operating during Level 5 restrictions.
That's according to the Dept. of Housing, responding to Kildare North Social Democrat TD, Catherine Murphy.
Decision Expected For Funding On Second Liffey Crossing In Newbridge.
A decision is expected shortly on whether Kildare County Council has been successful in its bid for funding of a second Liffey crossing in Newbridge.
It has applied for monies to begin the project to the Dept. of Housing, under Call 2 of the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund,.
KCC Returned 90 Of Its Homes In 2020.
Kildare County Council returned 90 of its homes to use in 2020.
It was allocated €1.85 million under the Dept. of Housing's Voids Programme in order to carry out the works.
The homes, once refurbished, are allocated to people and families on the social housing waiting list.

Kildare's Community Covid-19 Helpline will begin taking calls at 8am, this morning.
It is offering help on non-medical, non-emergency matters on 045 980 202 and 1800 300 174.
The helpline operates 7 days a week, between 8am and 8pm.
