An elevent candidate has been declared to run in the General Election in Kildare North.
Former Green Party Kildare County Councillor, Shane Fitzgerald, is to run for Renua Ireland.
Earlier today, the Greens announced that Maebh Ní Fhallún will vy for a seat in the constituency.
Also declared are: sitting TDs, Fine Gael's Anthony Lawlor & Bernard Durkan, Social Democrat Catherine Murphy and Labour's Emmett Stagg are joined in the race by Fianna Fáil Cllrs. James Lawless and Frank O'Rourke, Community Solidarity Cllr. Brendan Young, Sinn Fein Cllr., Réada Cronin and PBPA's Ashling Merriman.
