4 people are being treated on trolleys at Naas General Hospital today.
It is the first time in some days that beds have not been found for all patients being treated at the hospital.
Nationwide, the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says 117 people are on gurneys.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by over-crowding.
28 people are on trolleys there.
