
There's been a 12 per cent rise the numbers waiting for admission to hospital on trolleys in May this year compared to the same month in 2017.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says 9,091 patients were waiting on trolleys or wards last month.
Of those, 329 were at Naas General Hospital
92 children were waiting for a bed in the three Dublin Children's Hospitals.
