The county GAA Convention took place tonight in the Osprey Hotel last night.

It finished in a record time of 73 minutes.

All the Executive were returned unopposed for another year.


Two Mile House have completed preparations for tomorrow’s Leinster Intermediate football final.

They play Shamrocks, of Offaly, in O’Connor Park Tullamore at 1.30pm

The Irish hockey team play world number 7 England at the World Cup in India at half past one Irish time

A draw will be enough to secure their passage to the crossover phase, where they are likely to play either New Zealand or France.

Today's racing is in Dundalk from 5.30.
