Rugby's Governing Bodies Urged To Discourage Use Of Prescription Painkillers.

Rugby's governing bodies are being urged to do more to discourage the use of prescription painkillers within the sport.

It's after Brian O'Driscoll revealed pills were regularly handed out to players so they could play their best.

The former Ireland and Leinster captain said it was "almost a habit" and doctors would sometimes ask players what painkillers they needed.

Professor Michael Molloy is a former Chief Medical Officer of World Rugby and the IRFU - and says action needs to be taken:
