The Leinster Rugby team to play Bath tomorrow in the Heineken Champions Cup at the Rec at 3.15pm has been named.

Rob Kearney starts at full back with Jordan Larmour on the right wing and James Lowe on the left.

In the centre Noel Reid partners Garry Ringrose, while the half backs are Luke McGrath and Johnny Sexton outside him at ten.

Cian Healy, Seán Cronin and Tadhg Furlong in the front row, with Devin Toner and James Ryan in the 2nd row.

The back row is Rhys Ruddock, who wins his 150th cap, Josh van der Flier and Dan Leavy complete the pack.

Joey Carbery and Conor Murray have been paired together in a Munster starting team for the first time for Sunday's game against Castres.

CJ Stander comes into the back row.


Ulster play last year's semi finalists Scarletts tonight.

Former Donegal All-Ireland winning manager Jim McGuinness has been given his first role in management.

He’s signed a three year contract with the Charlotte Independence, in the US, who play in the United Soccer League.

Since leaving Gaelic Football management in 2014, McGuinness has spent time coaching at Celtic and, recently, in China.


Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been presented with the League Managers Association Service to Football Award.

Wenger won three Premier League titles and the FA Cup on seven occasions during his time with the club.


The Irish hockey team play world number 7 England at the World Cup in India at half past one Irish time

A draw will be enough to secure their passage to the crossover phase, where they are likely to play either New Zealand or France.
