He’s signed a three year contract with the Charlotte Independence, in the US, who play in the United Soccer League.
Since leaving Gaelic Football management in 2014, McGuinness has spent time coaching at Celtic and, recently, in China.
Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been presented with the League Managers Association Service to Football Award.
