WHO Agrees To Examine Emerging Evidence On Covid 19 Transmission.

: 07/08/2020 - 15:32

The World Health Organisation has agreed to look at emerging evidence on how coronavirus spreads.

More than 200 scientists from 32 countries, including Ireland, want more attention paid to the potential for airborne transmission.

It's where tiny particles hang in the air for hours in crowded, poorly ventilated indoor settings.

The WHO says the possibility of people contracting Covid 19 that way, rather than from cough or sneeze droplets, can't be ruled out.
