A major national awareness campaign about sexual harassment and sexual violence will be launched later this morning.
The campaign called 'No Excuses is backed by the Department of Justice and includes ads on TV, radio, cinema and social media.
Recent research shows Ireland has the highest level of claimed sexual harassment in Europe with 32 percent of women between 18 and 34 saying they had experienced some form of it in the last 12 months.
The new ads will feature both female and male victims and perpetrators.
CEO of Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, Noeline Blackwell, says the campaign is much needed.
