Next Year's Leinster Senior Hurling Championship Will Feature At Two Week Break.

: 10/10/2018 - 13:13

Teams in next year's Leinster Senior Hurling Championship will have two break weeks, with the schedule for the round-robin section extended to six weeks from five.

In the 2018 Championship, both Wexford and Offaly had faced games on four successive weekends.

Last year's Joe McDonagh Cup winners Carlow will open with a trip to defending champions Galway on the opening weekend.

Kilkenny will take on Dublin on week one with Wexford having a bye.

The final is expected to be played on a Saturday evening to avoid a clash with the Munster decider.
