Study: Insects Could Be Extinct Within 100 Years.

: 02/11/2019 - 11:40

Scientists are warning insects could become extinct within 100 years and are dying out eight times faster than mammals, birds and reptiles.

They claim this will be 'catastrophic' for the planet as bugs are food for other creatures, pollinators and recyclers of nutrients.

Their research found more than 40 per cent are declining and a third are endangered.
