Teenage Boy Who Died Following Straffan Collision Being Laid To Rest Today.

The teenage boy who died on Saturday following a collision in Straffan last week will be laid to rest today

16 year old Shane Duggan was injured in a crash at Oughterard, at 4.50pm last Tuesday.

He was taken to Dublin's Beaumont Hospital where he was treated for head injuries, but pronounced dead on Saturday

The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was not injured.

A Garda investigation continues.

Shane will be laid to rest this afternoon, following midday mass in St. Anne's Church,  Ardclough
