Kildare County Council's Severe Weather Assessment Team is continuing to monitor weather conditions, as the heatwave persists.
SWAT first convened on June 27th, to review of the impact of the weather conditions on the delivery of council services, and on "the wider community".
KCC has affirmed following today's meeting that all of its "services are being delivered as normal"
It is reminding people that a Status Red "extreme fire risk" alert has been imposed by the Dept. of Agriculture.
