BT Young Scientist Winners Will Be Announced This Evening.

The winner of the BT Young Scientist competition will be announced later today (5pm)

Overall 140 awards will be handed out to the 550 projects entered this year.

12 Kildare entries, from 8 schools, are taking part

The winner takes home a cheque for € 7,500 as well as the Young Scientist perpetual trophy.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast from the RDS in Dublin on Facebook Live.

The Kildare entries are:
