The government has refused to provide a list of what health projects might be delayed by overruns at the National Children's Hospital, but, construction of a state lab in Kildare may be impacted.
Ministers say that no project will be cancelled - but 24 million needs to be found in the health capital budget this year.
The cost of the hospital overruns will also be met by delaying the A5 motorway, taking money out of urban and rural development funds and pulling 3 million from flooding programmes.
Overall 99 million euro is needed this year - with 10 million coming from Education and 10 million from the Forensic Science Laboratory, to be built at Backweston in Celbridge.
