Weds pm Sport: Corrigan Park Passed for Kildare/Antrim Qualifier; Kildare U20 Football Team v Cork Tonight is Announced

Antrim GAA has confirmed that Corrigan Park will host the All-Ireland Football qualifier against Kildare on Saturday week.

The 2-thousand capacity Belfast venue has passed a passed a safety inspection.

It was deemed too small for the Saffrons Ulster Championship clash with Tyrone, which was instead played at the Athletics Ground in Armagh.

The Kildare U20 football team to play Cork this evening in Castlecomer in the Sean Kerins Cup Development league, has been announced.

At the Women's World Cup, today, France play Norway, Nigeria play South Korea and Germany play Spain.

 

Ronan O'Gara is to take up the appointment of Head Coach with French Top 14 team La Rochell at the end of July.

He is to work alongside La Rochelle's Director of Rugby Jonno Gibbes.

O'Gara has spent the last two years with Crusaders in New Zealand, which followed a stint with Racing 92.
