Tyrone and Monaghan meet in today’s All-Ireland semi final.

Mickey Harte makes one change for the All-Ulster clash with Rory Brennan coming in at corner back.

Monaghan also make one change, with Dessie Mone named in the half forward line instead of Conor McCarthy.

Manchester City begin their Premier League title defence today away to Arsenal at 4pm

Liverpool are home to West Ham.  Burnley go to Southampton: both games at 1.30.

In the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup, holders Cork City are away to Home Farm at1 o'clock.

Shane Lowry is 4 off the lead at the PGA Championship following a one-under par 69 3rd round.

This followed a 2nd round 64 finish yesterday morning.

Brooks Koepka leads on 12 under.

Rory McIlroy had a 71; he’s two under for the tournament.

It’s the final day of the European Athletics Championships.  Ciara Mageean competes in the finals of the 1500 metres this evening.

Norway’s Jacob Ingebrigtsen (pro:”yak-cub inger- brigs-zen”) made history again last night.

The 17 years old won the 5000 metres title, adding to the 1500 metres title he won on Friday.  His older brother Henrik finished 2nd last night

Jacob is the youngest athlete in history to win either of the events and the first ever to win both at the same championships.
