People wrongly taken off tracker rates by Irish banks have died by suicide because of the pressure they were put under.
The charge was placed at the feet of the banks by a group of 4 customers defrauded by their lenders who appeared before the Oireachtas Finance Committee earlier.
At least 20,000cases have been identified.
One of the customers appearing today had lost €60,000.
