Kildare South's TDs are to meet with the Dept. of Education this afternoon, to raise the fact that 2 children with special needs in the area do not have places at second level in September.
Parents of seven children preparing to graduate from Scoil na Naomh Uilig spear-headed the campaign
Places have been found at "main stream" secondary school for five of the children.
Kildare South Fine Gael TD, Martin Heyon, says confirmed that this afternoon's meeting will seek to find places for two children.
Cecelia Semple is a mother of one of the children in the original group of seven.
Speaking to Kildare Today, she says civil servants need to step up.
