Key Week for Moorefield/Kildare Hurlers & Champions League Returns.

: 02/13/2018 - 12:57

Kildare footballers, Moorefield footballers and Kildare hurlers have a busy week ahead

Next up for the footballers is Donegal away, also with no points from three games.

That match is on February 25th.

The county’s hurlers also are in search of opening Division 2A points after three games.

Next Sunday, they play Kerry in Newbridge at 2pm.  Kfm will have full commentary in association with Hanlon Concrete, Robertstown.

Moorefield are completing preparations for Saturday’s All Ireland club semi final against Corofin in O’Connor Park, Tullamore at 2pm.

No injuries are reported!  Kfm will have full commentary of the game in association with Shay Dowling Carpets, Ladytown Business Park, Naas.

University of Limerick can reach their fourth Fitzgibbon Cup final in 5 years this evening.

They play DJ Carey's IT Carlow in the semi finals in Waterford.

Parnell Park is the venue for semi final between DCU and DIT.

Manchester City are in last 16 Champions League action tonight.

Leroy Sane could make a surprise return in their game against Basel in Switzerland.

The German winger was expected to be sidelined for six weeks having suffered an ankle ligament injury during last month's FA Cup win over Cardiff.

Spurs are away to Juventus

Hull City midfielder Ryan Mason has been forced to retire at the age of 26 on medical advice.

The former Tottenham star says he has no option but to hang up his boots after suffering a fractured skull while playing against Chelsea last year.

Mason underwent surgery following a clash of heads with Gary Cahill.

There will be an early morning inspection before tomorrow's race meeting at Clonmel.

Parts of the course are currently unfit for racing following heavy rain.
