
Mean home prices in Kildare rose by €6,000 in the year to April.
Latest data from the Central Statistics Office shows that the Kildare median price, the mid-point price of all combined sales, rose from €250,000 in January, to €290,000 in April.
In Dublin, residential property prices rose by 0.5 percent - with the highest house price growth in south Dublin at 4 percent.
Outside of the capital - the cost of homes went up by 5.6 percent.
