Listen: No Public Interest Defence In Leaked Cables, Says Scotland Yard.

Scotland Yard has defended warning journalists not to publish more leaked cables from Britain's former ambassador to the US, Kim Darroch.

Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu says there could have been a breach of the UK Official Secrets Act - with no public interest defence.

But Conservative MP and member of Britain's Foreign Affairs Committee Bob Seely says a free press is more important than a prosecution in this case:
