Ireland's first 5G mobile network has gone live today.
Vodafone is launching the high-speed internet service, with speeds of up to 900 megabits per second, in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford.
It says additional cities and towns will be included later this year, followed by a general rollout over the next two years.
Eir and Three are expected to launch their 5G networks by the end of the year.
