Irish Rail Organised €60K Fishing Contest, Amid Claims It Is Broke.

: 09/13/2017 - 11:25

Irish Rail is being accused of organising a €60,000 fishing contest, despite claims it's going broke.

The firm reportedly arranged for ten teams of European train workers to attend the event in Fermanagh, staying in a 4-star hotel.

The Daily Mail claims Irish Rail are standing by their decision because they've chosen a 'world renowned angling location'.

Management recently said they need €100 million or vital safety works.
