A Kildare GAA Referees strike is now considered unlikely.

A meeting of referees was held in Manguard Plus Hawkfield last night, but no clear outcome has emerged.

The referees feel the County Board isn’t addressing the issues to the referees’ satisfaction.

On Wednesday evening, County Board chairman Ger Donnelly circulated an email to all clubs calling for respect for, and cooperation with, match officials.
