A decision is due next week on a multi purpose commercial and residential development in Kilcock.
The proposed works would see the demolition of the existing Corscaddens Hotel on Church Street, to be replaced by a retail unit, and a Café with 4 three bed apartments above it.
To rear of the site would be a residential development consisting of 40 homes. These would include 8 two storey, 3 bed semi-detached houses; 8 two storey, 3 bed terraced townhouses, and 12 ground floor apartments with 12 duplex units overhead all contained within 6 three storey buildings.
A decision is due on White Tide Developments Limited's application on the Wednesday the 17th of this month.

Development Description: for a mixed use development. The site is bounded to the front (north-west) by Church Street and to the rear (south-east) by the Royal Canal. The proposed development consists of the demolition of (i) the existing Corscaddens Hotel; (ii) associated outbuildings and stables to the rear and (iii) an existing dormer dwelling in the south-west of the site.
