Bord na Móna may be asked to appear before a meeting of the Athy Municipal District.
Fianna Fáil Cllr., Brian Dooley, says the Newbridge headquartered firm should do so to outline its plans for its Kilberry factory, facilities and employees.
His motion will be debated at the January meeting of the Athy MD on Tuesday.
