Irish/Israeli Research Indicates Reptile Life-Spans May Be Shortened By Climate Change.

Reptiles and amphibians could have their lives cut short because of climate change, according to researchers in Ireland and Israel.

Warm blooded animals tend to age faster while cold-blooded animals, like turtles, can live for centuries.

But scientists at Queens University in Belfast and Tel Aviv University in Israel say if temperatures are rising, it speeds up their metabolism and reduces their lifespan.
