Listen: Money Handed Back By Irish Army Should Be Used For Salary Raises, Insists FF Defence Spokesperson.

The Defence Forces handed back nearly 100 million euro to the exchequer over the last five years.

Fianna Fáil says some of the excess cash could have been used to fund better salaries for members of the Defence Forces.

The party's spokesperson on Defence, Jack Chambers, says the money could have helped those who are among the worst paid in the public sector:
