Fianna Fáil has added a second candidate to its General Election ticket in South Kildare.
Sitting TD, Fiona O'Loughlin, has already confirmed her candidacy,.
Kildare/Newbridge Cllr., Suzanne Doyle, will also vie for election for the party in what will become a four seat constituency at the advent of the next General Election.
Deputy O'Loughlin says “I learned this afternoon that Cllr Suzanne Doyle has been added contest the next general election as the second candidate to be added to the ticket for Fianna Fáil.
“I am disappointed for Mayor Martin Miley as he is a strong candidate in her own right however, I endeavoured to make contact with Cllr Doyle having heard the news to wish her well in her campaign”.
