Flights Resume At Hong Kong Airport, Following Protests.

: 08/14/2019 - 12:04

Flights are back up and running at Hong Kong Airport after a night of clashes between protesters and riot police.

The airport, one of the world's busiest, has been the scene of escalating anti-government demonstrations.

A temporary injunction has now been secured to stop protesters entering parts of the terminal building.

Hong Kong has a special status separate to mainland China after the UK handed over control more than 20 years ago.
