Kerry Hope To Have Stephen O'Brien Cleared To Face Dublin.

: 08/15/2019 - 15:31

Kerry hope to have Stephen O'Brien cleared to play in the All Ireland Football final with Dublin.

County chairman Tim Murphy has confirmed they're appealing the second of the three black cards the Kenmare forward received this year in the Super-8 win over Meath.

Murphy says they hope to have their case resolved in the next three to four days.

The Chairman has also told Radio Kerry they have the utmost confidence in match referee David Gough.

The mooted appointment of the Slane official had drawn questions over his suitability from some Kerry pundits
